My name is Dr. Jade Viegas, DC, CAT (C)
Dr. Jade Viegas was born and grew up in Grande Prairie participating in sports. Her primary sports being dance and hockey. Injuries brought her to her first chiropractor and inspired her to pursue a career in the healthcare field. She attended the University of Calgary where she earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree while simultaneously securing an Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University. Upon graduation, she became a Certified Athletic Therapist and decided to stay involved with hockey thus allowing her to work with athletes daily. After four years of working with hockey teams, Dr. Viegas decided to further her education and began her chiropractic program at Palmer College of Chiropractic West.
Upon graduation Dr. Viegas became a board certified Chiropractor in both Canada and the United States, where she remained living and working in sunny California. She is passionate about providing the best care for her patients and as such has taken many seminars to provide her different skills to utilize with patients including Graston technique and ART. Dr. Jade has seen and treated a wide variety of conditions including neck/back pain, herniated/bulging disc, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow to name a few. Whether your goals are improved performance, injury prevention/rehab or general wellness Dr. Jade will exam you and create a personalized treatment plan for you. When she is not helping patients she can be found enjoying time with her family or in the kitchen trying new recipes.
